Hardware Quality on Custom Plush Keychains
The hardware determines whether your keychain stays attached or falls off a bag after two weeks. We use nickel-plated or stainless steel lobster clasps as standard — they resist corrosion and hold up under daily use. Split rings, ball chains, carabiner clips, and phone loops are also available depending on how the end user attaches the product.
Hardware is attached through a reinforced fabric loop sewn into the plush body during assembly, not glued on afterward. This prevents the most common failure point in cheap keychains. We pull-test every attachment point during QC.
Detail Work at Miniature Scale
Shrinking a design to keychain size doesn't mean shrinking the standards. A 10 cm character keychain still needs accurate face embroidery, correct color placement, and clean seam lines. The margin for error is tighter at small scale — a misplaced eye by 2 mm on a 30 cm plush is barely visible; on a 10 cm keychain, it's obvious.
Our embroidery machines run dedicated programs for mini plush, with adjusted stitch density and reduced thread tension to prevent fabric bunching on small panels. Pattern pieces are laser-cut for consistency across high-volume batches.

The main structural difference is the hardware attachment system. Keychain plush has a reinforced loop sewn into the head or body during construction, engineered to handle the pulling and swinging forces of daily carry. Standard mini plush toys don't need this reinforcement. If you're producing mini plush that might be sold both ways, we can add the loop and hardware during production for a small per-unit uplift.
Blind Box and Collectible Keychain Sets
Blind box keychain sets typically include 6–12 designs with one or two "secret" rare variants. We produce these with per-design MOQs and handle the assortment ratio packing — for example, 60% common designs, 30% uncommon, 10% rare. Each piece is individually bagged for blind box insertion.
